Generator Wiring & Installation

Generators for homes are one of our specialties at Oakley Electric. We supply automatic start up generators, so that when the power goes out you will not have to do anything to trigger your backup power source, it will turn on automatically keeping your home powered until service has been restored.

We install the automatic transfer between the meter and panel as well as the generator itself. Generators come in different sizes, from 8KW to 20KW, depending on what you need backed up. We also install manual switches where you roll in your portable generator, plug it to your power grid, and flip a few switches to determine which circuits are being powered by your generator.
